Best Baa Dairy is a family-owned farm near Conn, Ontario that produces award-winning sheep’s milk, cheese and yoghurt.
Best Baa’s range of sheep’s milk cheese includes Ramembert, a take on Camembert that’s a small, bloom-ripened cheese with a fluffy exterior and ivory white interior; Eweda, a cylindrical tome that’s creamy, tart and fruity; and Sheep in the Meadow, a lactic, bloomy rind cheese sprinkled with Herbes de Provence.
Best Baa got its start when Eric and Elisabeth Bzikot moved from Manitoba to Ontario with their flock and discovered a growing demand for sheep’s milk in the area. Best Baa is dedicated to environmental sustainability and high animal welfare standards.
Sample and purchase Best Baa’s cheese at The Great Canadian Cheese Festival. In all, there will be 150 Canadian artisan and farmstead cheeses on offer, plus 200 specialty foods, not-to-mention small-batch wine, craft beer and cider, and spirits.
