Niagara Falls, Ontario

Ice Syrup is an all-natural, distinctively Canadian product. Derived from Vidal and Cabernet grapes, Ice Syrup is a perfect substitute for sugar and a great addition to drinks and both sweet and savory meals alike.

Ice syrup is the brainchild of Steve Murzda, whose family grows grapes in Niagara. The idea came to him when he brought in a haul of frozen grapes. He decided to experiment with a non-alcoholic syrup, rather than using the grapes for ice wine. The result is a tasty, healthy product unique to Niagara. Ice Syrup comes in both Vidal and Cabernet Franc varieties, and it also offers signature syrups made by celebrity chef Susur Lee.

Sample and purchase Ice Syrup at The Great Canadian Cheese Festival.
