About Julia Rogers

Julia Rogers is a cheese and wine educator whose career began behind the counter at Toronto’s carriage-trade purveyor, All The Best Fine Foods, and continued at Whole Foods Market soon after its first Canadian store opened.

She provides retail training and consultation, and presents cheese and wine at events including Toronto Taste, the Wine and Food Show, and Santé Wine Festival. She partners with a broad slate of retailers, restaurateurs, trade representatives and non-profit programs to animate cheese, wine and beer-related educational events. Her monthly Night School for Cheese Fans is entering its sixth year at Leslieville Cheese Market, and was voted Best Cheese Appreciation Class in Toronto by Toronto Life Magazine.

Julia is curriculum designer and lead instructor for George Brown College’s Professional Fromager Certificate program. She is also a Certified Wine Educator, a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers, and holds a Diploma from the U.K. based Wine and Spirit Education Trust.
