Thanks to your attendance at The Great Canadian Festival in 2011, we were able to support the Canadian Cheese Society with $3,000 in funding and provide a scholarship of $1,000 to a young Canadian pursuing a career in cheese.

In 2012, our funding focus shifts exclusively to supporting education in cheese.

Our mission is to encourage young Canadians to pursue careers in cheese.

Cheesemaking has been an important Canadian domestic and export industry for the past 400 years—almost as long as the fur trade. Today, the Canadian cheese industry is in a growth pattern, especially in artisan and farmstead sectors.
