Welcome to Camp Fromage

Affordable, convenient accommodation is available right at this year’s Great Canadian Cheese Festival. RV and tent camping on the Picton Fairgrounds at $25 per night allows cheese lovers the option to stay close to the action all weekend.

PLUS: Campers get 10% off the price admission to #TGCCF.

The new accommodation venue is made possible through the Municipality of the County of Prince Edward.

Campers will have 24-hour access to accessible washrooms and running water at the Ball Diamonds building, but there are no hydro, water or sewer hookups on the campsites. Space has been allotted for up to 30 tents (4 persons per tent) and 25 RVs.

As the venue is near a residential area, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • Quiet time after 11 PM (monitored by the OPP)
  • No campfires
  • No alcohol
  • No access to the Prince Edward Community Centre or the Curling Club
  • Permits are to be paid in full prior to booking and posted on tent or trailer
  • No littering, garbage receptacles will be on site.

The Cheese Festival is not responsible for campsite reservations. They must be made and paid for in advance by May 26, through the Booking Representative at the County of Prince Edward: bookings@pecounty.on.ca or 613-476-2148 ext. 5003. Camping for the festival availability starts on Friday June 2, 2017

Contact the Festival’s Ticketing Co-ordinator at info@cheesefestival.ca once you can provide proof of payment for your campsite for the code to order tickets at 10% off.
