Crystal Palace: a historic venue
Crystal Palace, the venue for The Great Canadian Cheese Festival, was built in 1890 along the lines of the original Crystal Palace created by Sir Joseph Paxton in 1851 for the Great Exhibition in London, England.
The building was renovated in 1997 and remains one of the few operating Crystal Palaces in the world.
Crystal Palace is located in Picton, in the heart of Ontario’s Prince Edward County, at the Picton Fairgrounds. The street address is 375 Main Street East, Picton, Ontario.
